So I know I journaled earlier about being involved in an art show series coming up in a local town near my home... Well the first show and opening are next week!!! Thursday April 14th! I am so excited.  I finished my three pieces to enter and cannot wait to see everyone Else's art.  The theme for this months show is Vibrance... Just bright and Colorful. I just uploaded pics of my three pieces. I am also very excited because a friend has asked if I would be interested in creating some art for his band and I am stoked to be involved in that!! And my boss may want to commission me to do a painting for our conference room! YAY!!! I am feeli

Just signed up for the 365 Project. It's kind of like an online photo journal.  You take a photo a day and upload it and it keeps track of your life for a year through a single photograph. You can view other people's photos and follow them and they can do the same with you. I just thought it was an awesome idea and another thing to motivate me to be artsy. Today was the first time I have signed into and submitted work to my deviantart account in like over a year.... I've been a horrible slacker, but I promise that will all change. I am about to participate in a local monthly art show where I am giving myself a goal of creating a new piece for each of the shows. So that will also give me motivation to come on here and share my new creations with all of you! It's good to be back and i promise not to be such a slacker... ~ K
